2021.10.18 08:30 n0stalgicEXE About Watch Dogs 2

Greetings,
If you're one of those people who enjoy to play Watch Dogs 2 more than the other two titles, I have a question for you.

What makes Watch Dogs 2 a better game for you?

Is it the story? Is it the gameplay? The map? Characters? I loved the first game and I still think Aiden Pearce is one of the best protagonists of all time. I loved the serious tone in the story, the gritty ingame world, the hidden details that revealed so much more about the world. Everything felt like it was made for me. I played the game a few years later after its original release and therefore I wasn't fooled by Ubisoft's wrong advertisement. Then after that another few years later I bought Watch Dogs 2 and hoped I was in for another incredible experience, but unfortunately the game just didn't do it for me. I'm honest - I never played beyond the part during which the DedSec crew met RK.

When Watch Dogs Legion was announced, I was hyped. Not because I could play as anyone, although I still think it's a very exciting and interesting feature, if implemented right. But because the tone seemed way darker than in the first game which retrospectively I can confirm, just thinking about all the dead bodies you can find, torture rooms and the Albion blacksite sidequest, the later one still haunts me.

However a game doesn't need to have a serious story for me to enjoy, which makes me wonder, if I should give Watch Dogs 2 another try? After all, I liked Legion and a lot of you say that Legion is actually worse than the other two titles.
Perhaps if you tell me what I should look for during my new attempt, I finally get to see the game through the eyes of you. I'd love to enjoy this game as much as many of you guys.

(AIKYAMPURA) - The Ministry of Defence has awarded a contract to ST Engineering Kinetics to upgrade and modernize its Hunter AFV for service with the Nusantara Armed Forces. Subcontractors for this programme will include BAE Systems, Volvo Aero, Saab, Doosan, DefTech/CTRM, LIG Nex1, and Thales Singapore.
Project ARTEMIS will cost an estimated $13.50 billion, and will enter FOC by 2045.

The Silent Hunter upgrade programme will result in the integration of advanced modern technologies into the Hunter AFV currently fielded by the Tentara Nusantara, resulting in a modernized, highly lethal, resilient, and mobile armoured fighting vehicle platform for service into the coming decades.
The baseline chassis and hull will remain for the most part unchanged, with driving and targeting systems upgraded to utilize redundant drive-by-wire VR controls for enhanced situational awareness. New-build vehicles will utilize a more powerful Doosan D2840LXE 840hp diesel engine, instead of the MTU diesel engine limited by political challenges. A hardened bank of A*STAR lithium-air batteries will provide additional power for electronics, a necessity given the installation of E-Ink and Adaptive active camouflage and ShortFire 41 conformal LPI GaN MIMO AESA arrays.
ST Kinetics will be responsible for developing a 35mm electrothermal-chemical autocannon to replace the 30mm Bushmaster II used onboard the Hunter, providing additional firepower while limiting ammunition storage challenges that would otherwise be imposed by a 40mm or 50mm gun.
Silent Hunter IFV The standard IFV model, intended for cavalry and armoured battalions. Active camouflage, active protection systems, UAS integration, Shortfire 41 AESA arrays, and a 35mm ETC autocannon provide a resilient and lethal platform with which Nusantaran mechanized infantry can operate in a variety of terrains and environments. Designed to operate in conjunction with MBTs like the KTU-41 and the Leopard 2A7NT+, reducing the need for anti-armour capabilities beyond that provided by a pair of Spike-LR2 ATGMs.

This is the second part of my 750 miles long route. And Things are getting more complicated from this moment. Somewhere around Elko my Internet connection went south. Stream was recorded, thus this video is longer and more complete than a LIVE recording. Unfortunately, I had to stop recording, save the game and wait for my Internet to be fixed.

I've been trying to find the audiobook for this one. Does anyone know where I can get an affordable copy (sub $20) for it? I'm used to getting my audiobooks on audible but this is the hardest one I've been trying to get now.

2021.10.18 08:30 Dylane_ High stress and long distance

We've been in a long distance relationship for about a month. We've been together irl and when he had this job opportunity we decided to go long distance so that he could pursue it. We started GREAT, but he's getting a lot more distant in this last couple of weeks. His life is extremely hard, he's undergoing a hard training, waking up at 4 am going to lessons and then studying in the afternoon / evening for his almost daily exams. I get that he's distant because he's exhausted. He told it himself. But why would it be so difficult to tell your gf you love her? That you miss her, from time to time? I am giving him all the space and time and support I can. I'm working my self and got a college degree, so I know that life exam after exam... It's draining. I know. That's why I am not complaining with him. I do not want to add another weight to his life. But it hurts so much. And I miss him so much.
Did someone of you found themself in this situation? How can you go to being loving and caring to not even saying "I love you"? Will this be better once the training is done?
